Tropical Pina Colada

Want a tasty tropical drink without all of the sugar and calories? Many hidden calories are being consumed daily in drinks such as fancy coffee concoctions, sodas and tasty mocktails.

It seems harmless and yet, it is not atypical to see over 40 grams of sugar in one drink.  Whoa!  That is almost twice as much sugar as our body can handle in one day and to be truthful our bodies don’t need sugar at all.  It is hardly worth the calories, and sugar spike, and the toil it can take on the body, mind, and energetic state.

Thankfully, there is a delicious alternative – this Tropical Pina Colada is the answer to every health-conscious woman, man and child out there! This is a simple, naturally sweet treat that is so simple to make. It’s perfect for a day by the pool, a family BBQ or even a dessert.

Live Beyond 100: The Centenarian Consciousness

Tropical Pina Colada is packed with nutrients such as manganese, magnesium, copper, phosphorous, iron and potassium.  Plus, fresh pineapple contains bromelain, the protein-digesting enzyme that demonstrates powerful effects in alleviating pain, swelling, and inflammation, digestive issues. Studies suggest bromelain might even fight cancer.

You have the option to add in a touch of stevia, an all-natural sweetener to add a little more sweetness, but you may find the pineapple provides just enough.

You can add in more ice to make it frothy or lessen the ice to create a smooth texture and a wonderful taste!

The fresher the ingredients, the higher the energy frequency, so always opt for raw, organic produce when whipping up a batch of this delicious and healthy alternative to a pina colada.
